At the Acts Center for Applied Research (ACAR), our goal is to use the tools of applied research to understand and promote successful aging.

To do so, we partner with leading institutions across and beyond the United States to study issues and trends in areas such as wellness, life purpose, brain health, and the uses of technology.

As the research division of Acts Retirement-Life Communities, ACAR helps fulfill a mission of social responsibility, putting into action our organization’s deep commitment to work for the well-being of older adults and enhance the services available to them.
